The Standards Commission is an independent body whose purpose is to encourage high ethical standards in public life through the promotion and enforcement of Codes of Conduct for councillors and those appointed to the boards of devolved public bodies.
Video for Council Officers on Councillors’ Code of Conduct

The Standards Commission has produced a video for council officers on the main provisions of the Councillors’ Code of Conduct. The video aims to promote and enhance their understanding of what is expected, in terms of the Code, so that they can help elected members comply with its provisions.
